Interviews with crews: The Company MrSpicyD

I've had a tough week. Like real stressful. But I'm not getting into that here. That's not professional. I've got an interview to do. But who was it with. I sieved through my documents, paper work and letters all backed up from the other stuff that had gone on this week. But again I'm going off topic. Stop it. Ah! Found it. The Company were my subject this week. I had heard a lot about them. Some positive, some negative, and some odd. But none of that matters to me, all I want is the interview. I got in contact with one of the bosses called Lev. He seemed abit, well like what others had said, odd. But he agreed to a short meeting during his busy day. So back to Chicago I went. But hopefully for a less eventful day.

I got out at the train station and took out my tourist map I had bought inside. The Company offices were in the centre of Chicago so it shouldn’t have been to hard to find it. The description someone had given me of the building was that 'you couldn’t miss it at the moment even if you tried'. I didn’t really know what that meant, but I kept it in mind. After about 10 minutes of walking I turned a corner and stopped as my jaw hit the floor. I think I had found it. It must be. Surely. Standing infant one my was a high-rise office block, like many others. It was about 12 maybe 15 floors high, like many others. It had a nice big front door with guards standing outside, like many others. But it was painted bright pink, like no others.

As I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly man at the front desk. I told him I was here to see Lev and that he was expecting me. The worker then informed me that Lev was waiting for me up in his office on the top floor, which was actually the 13the floor so I wasn’t that far off. There was a problem though, the lifts were broke. Seriously? I’ve got to walk up there, can’t he come down?! No?? Alright, fine. As I turned to head to the stairs I saw sign for the crew on the wall, but it had be defaced. In stead of reading ‘The Company’ someone had changed it too ‘The Cockpany’. Nice and subtle. Anyway, up I go.

When I got out at the top I was met by a female receptionist who told me Lev would be with me shortly. As I stood there looking towards his office door the lift behind me made a dinging noise as if it had arrived. Hang on, the lift? It’s not working. I turned to see what it was, when suddenly the lift doors opened and out stepped the front desk worker. ‘Hello there, my names Lev. Please come in. You look worn out; would you like a drink?’ I was speechless as I walked into his office and he shut the door behind me ‘It’s lovely to finally meet you’ he said as he put his hand out to shake mine. 'This is ridiculous’ I thought as I shook his han…. OUCH!! I pulled my hand back quickly and looked down at his. A buzzer. He had given me an ‘electric shock’. ‘Well you do work for the BUZZ don’t you?!’ He said jokingly. I had had enough of this, and we had only just started.

We walked to his desk where he pulled out a chair and offer me a seat. As I sat down I stopped and looked at the seat, just incase. I was lucky I did. About 30 thumbtacks were there waiting to be sat on. ‘Ah you’re quicker than I expected. Good. Well shall we do this?’ Yes. Yes we shall.

Set Questions

Q-Who are the main names in the crew? Like bosses and council members.
A- We have 8 lovers. Together we decide on our every move. 7 of us are in TC; Nordy, Conq, Riviera, Duke, RoughendOdor, Europe and myself. 1 is not and I wont disclose his username and/or most famous alias.

Q-How long have you and the other owners/founders of the crew know each other?
A- We got together in 23rd Cumslingers last round, we have been playing together ever since.

Q-Have you had any other crews owned and run by the same group of people but under a different name? If so, why the name change?
A- We did our own thing in 23rd to be honest, Pen15 Club was our previous name.

Q-What round did you first establish this crew?
A - This round.

Q-Where does your crew name come from?
A- We used to sell fleshlights illegally. Now that we have entered the stock exchange we felt we needed a proper name to bring these badboys to the general public.

Q-What's your crews greatest achievement this round or others?
A- Conq didnt get banned yet, that's probably our greatest achievement this round.

Q-Are you recruiting? If so what do you look for in people
A- We are always recruiting. We mainly look for alliance players who dont want to play UG [undergorund] anymore.

Q-What tips would you give someone who are looking at crews to decide on which one to join?
A- Join the one that suits you best. You want to have fun? Join one of our crews, you want to get yelled at and BR [boozerun] all day, join the other side.

Q-What bits of information or tips would you give to the people out there that want to start their own crew?
A- The game lacks active players. Any new crew will find it hard to fill up their spot with loyal members. Best to save those ideas for a next round.

Q-What's your stance on the alliance war?
A- We are a neutral crew. We only drink and post dick-pics. Even insiders feel bad they shot us.

Specific Question

Q-You have been a ‘crew’ for a while now. Would you go for a ‘family’ spot if one became available?
A-We are not a very big crew.. we are happy being "just" a crew.

Q-You said you are both in and out of the alliance war. Can you give us a straight answer to the question, are The Company on a side?
A-We are in an alliance against DI[Dutch Inc]&co

Q-Who had the idea to change your name and colour of the crew to what it is now?
A-Conq changed the name facepalm: I figured since we are called the cockpany for 14 days, we might as well be pink too..

As much as I loved the interview, I could sense he was somewhat mocking it, and maybe me. But I just thought that was a part of his charm. But whatever it was it was my time to leave. This time by the lift! Whilst we stood waiting for the lift to come up we said our goodbyes, and he went for another hand shake. I shook my head with a smile on my face. He withdraw he hand a nodded, as if to congratulate me. Ding! The lift was here. The door slide open and I walked… WOW!! THERE WAS NO LIFT!!! I swung out into the lift shaft as I felt a tight hand on my shoulders pulling me back. ‘I told you they weren’t working’ he whispered into my ear.

When got back to my building that afternoon and thought back on today I did have to laugh, even though at one point I think I could have died, Lev was a good guy. An odd guy but a good guy none the less. I walked into my apartment block to see that the lift had an 'OUT OF ORDER' sign over it. Hmm typical.

At the time of writing The Company still existed. Now... Well read the other article to find out!
