I wonder if they prophesied this would happen? MrSpicyD

Due to the combination of a small team of writers, and the massive events last week, a few events unfortunately slipped through the net and didn't make the Monday release.
One of those things was the very sudden and unexpected wipe of The Prophecy (TP) by shooters from Merces Letifer (ML).

We already knew some of the details as the shooter from ML had publically admitted responsibility by turning up to some of the graves during the funerals and openly declaring it, something that had become quite a popular thing to do of late
All we needed know where the reasons. I got in contact with one of the bosses of ML called Jimmy about maybe a meeting to discuss the shootings.
He agreed to a short interview but he was a busy man, so it really would be short. He wanted to meet me outside of their state [New York], so the met was set to be in Nevada, in the middle of nowhere.
Why did he choose there? I should have realised something was up then. But yet again I let it slide.

A few days later I was in Nevada, waiting at the co-ordinates he sent me. They lead me to a patch of desert in the middle of nowhere. I would take at least 10 minutes from any main road to get here. You could see for miles around. He obviously didn't want to take any chances. After a couple of minutes I saw a car driving towards me on the horizon.
When it pulled up, out stepped Jimmy, alone.

"So Jimmy, what’s your role in the ML?".
"Founder and Boss.”
I waited for something else to come out of his mouth. Maybe some follow up information. But nothing. "Why did you attack TP?"
"We didn’t want them around" Again, silence. Seriously? This was all his has going to give me?
"OK. Did you have bad relations with them before the shooting? Was that the reason?”
"I don't know them at all to be honest." So what, it was a random shooting then? It's never a random shooting.'

I was putting so much effort into getting some information out of a very reluctant crews boss that I hadn't noticed that another car had been travelling towards us. This couldn't be a coincidence. Who was it? Had Jimmy set me up? Did he think I was a threat?! I ran to the boot of my car, where I had a Remington hidden under the spare tyre and stared at Jimmy. "What's going on man? This was meant to be an interview. Nothing more.”
"Calm down. He just wants to chat." He just wants to chat?
What? "Who is he?!" I got no reply as the car sped closer then came to a sliding stop kicking up the sand under its wheels. The sand went everywhere and covered the car. I heard the doors open and close but couldn't see who it was getting out. The dust settled as he walked out from within the sandy mist.
PlusTwo? “What was it you wanted to know?”.

“Well hold on. What’s Sector Omertà’s [SO] relationship with ML?!” I stuttered.
"Ah well, some of our UG friends didn't feel safe anymore being crewless [so] the safest option for them would be to start their own crew under our protection. We wanted to keep this somewhat confidential, however, when both of us were spared last week it became clear to all that ML is affiliated with SO.”
“So maybe you can give me more detail on why ML shot TP?”
“Sure. Because our alliance (TV, TSE, DV and SO) voted on that matter. Conclusion was that TP should be wiped, it was our turn to shoot. Our friends in ML were eager to pull the trigger.”
“Did you have any feelings towards TP, or were they just orders?”
“Actually we considered TP our allies, but they betrayed us and our allies by aiding our enemies in a shootout. On a personal level I like Cyco a lot though."

And with that they got back into their respective cars and drove off. Leaving me there. I stood for a while thinking about what they had told me. I wondered how many other crews were connected without us knowing.
God, this is going to be a long drive back.

Editors Note-
Members of TP were approached about talking on the matter of the shooting but we unable to get back to me with any information before the article went to press.
