The revenge shooting MrSpicyD

On Tuesday 18th a large shooting took place of The Sacred Empire which seemed to be the first large revenge shooting from the wipe and split of the 'alliance' a few weeks ago. It was done by some unknown accounts called Golder, Fysic , Trager , LandPirate , and Konq . The shooters were actually other known players that had gone UG, who were from the crews The Company [TC] and Most Wanted [MW]. At least one of the shooters was hiding in Sector Omerta [SO], he was then kicked and killed after the shooting happened. I asked [b]Jmak about the insider but he said he would rather the information be kept confidential about that account, but from the looks of it, and the fact that the new account was in The Vanguard [TV] when he joined up again, their relationship hasn't changed since the shooting.

Shortly after the shooting I was contacted by Nordy from The Company [TC] about it all and we agreed on an interview. I started by asking how long the planning took to which he told me that is was "about 24 hours from start to finish" so not long at all really. With the planning being such a small amount of time I wondered how much it all cost. He said that "it was a fairly inexpensive shooting", I wondered if he was just being modest. He also admitted that "shooting TSE is even more enjoyable than shooting DI [Dutch Inc.]" and the reason behind the shooting (other than the obvious revenge wanted for the wiping of TC) was that "anyone who has ever worked with TSE knows how awful they can be." He also let us know he is still out there by saying that he "was not one of the shooters" but only a co-ordinator with Riviera. He said that he will use his account to "shoot the bullet exploiters" who hurt him personally last round. Although the shooting was a great shake up to the game and, although it was expected at some point, it was a surprise it didn’t go perfectly. I wanted Nordy to speak on how he thought it went. He had this to say

Well I'm not sure if you were online but there was a huge amount of lag on the graveyard page. Most of our shooters were unable to do anything for 10-15 minutes in the middle of the shooting. This gave the N Don extra time to shoot back. We also failed one important kill and a bug caused our backup searches to never find the target. In the end it was still a success. TV almost instantly shot SO and we took out a vast majority of TSE including the N Don.

So some of it, he feels can be blamed on the lag of the game. After the shooting I asked someone from Elite Guard to talk about this "lag". The response I got was

This was reported to BSF shortly after the last shootings. He looked into it immediately after me reporting it to him. He made some "optimization" adjustments to the graveyard page and it has since been fixed. No further information can be given at this time.

So from one side I then move on to the next and got I touch with Refutwo, who was killed in the shooting. I wanted some sort of response from TSE about it all and what happens now for them.
Although the reasons for the shooting are mostly known I still asked him what he thought on the matter to which he confirmed that the reasons were to "even the scores". I wanted to know what they did as a crew to try and stop the shootings as they happened. "2 members ditched the crew to be able and shoot any shooters and other enemies that were on the surface." They also used their handy Nation Don account and "immediately started his special searches to defend the crew." I wondered what the actual damage was and he confirmed that is was "roughly 42 accounts" that were killed with "10" that had survived. He explained that they were doing everything in their "power to defend the N.Don position so he could take down the shooters, he took 4 down before they finally managed to kill him." But the reason it didn’t drop was because the shooters "didn’t finish the whole council layer". He ended by saying "it's most likely that we will shoot one another when we see them."

The crews involved in the attack of the "new alliance" quickly discussed what to do as somehow SO had been insided. Could there be more UG players just sitting in there, waiting. And what about SO's linked crew spot Merces Letifer [ML], was there anyone hiding in there too. TV took it upon themselves to do something about the potential threat by wiping both crews, killing off all the accounts including personal friends of some of the members and council in TV. Was this action too drastic? From the information we have found out they did what they felt needed to be done to be certain that there was no other accounts sitting inside SO or ML waiting to shoot. Did they have to wipe their friends accounts? Surely they could have been trusted? Who knows. All we know is they were worried enough about being wiped that they potentially destroyed their alliance and a few friendships. We will see over the next few days what happens with the rest of the "new alliance".

Editors note-
After completion of the article we managed to get a statement from TV. This was what it said.

Well, TSE got wiped that evening. We collected witness statements and found out that shooters were from SO. We immediately started searches and shot the same night. ML was also shot for their affiliation with SO.

We received intel that SO turned on our alliance and therefore we had to act quickly in order to secure the lives of our own members, DV and the members of TSE still alive. Later we found out that most members/leaders of SO were not aware of the TSE wipe.

Afterwards, it became clear that only a small fraction of SO was involved with the TSE wipe so it would have been best to get those members/leader kicked and killed. It was a wrong judgement call based on the intel we received and the small time frame.

We are glad that we explained everything to the SO leaders who were not aware and that they understood our actions. We apologized and they are still part of our alliance. We are happy about that. We have indeed done some work for the other side, but most important is the fact that we are still strong and united.

Writer's note-
Due to time restraints this week, the writing of this article does not match the same style as I usually post. For that I don't apologise, but I will say that this is a rarity and will be back to normal in my next article. Thank you.
