Is the latest crew wipe the beginning of a great Don shortage?

For the past couple of weeks, Bootleggers has been experiencing a rapid change in the game's State- and Nation-Don roster, with many mass shootings and crew wipes taking place. Now, after Rigor Mortis got shot off the stats, seven State Dons, two Nation Dons, and a whole lot of other high ranking players have been flung into the grave in what is less than three weeks, rendering the game's player base unable to keep up. Now, when Duck_6 became State Don of Nevada, the game is officially out of Legendary Dons to fill the gaps on the States page, with only a Nation Don and two State Dons (both members of Ndrangheta) left.
But here's where this gets complicated. Not only is the game out of Legendary Don's and lacking State Dons, but also critically low on high ranking players all together. With only five Respectable Dons and ten Dons left alive, the situation is so fragile that it seems it won't take much more than a couple of shooting like we've seen in the past few weeks, and the game could be rendered without any State/Nation-Dons and no players to fill in for them for quite some time. It seems that the Bootleggers community is effectively shooting itself faster than it can rank up. Whether that's good or not probably depends on who you ask.
If these doomsday predictions should occur, and they very well can, Bootleggers will briefly be thrown back into an era before the State/Nation-Dons changed the game and it's power balance forever. You might want to get ready for some nostalgia.
