Oh yes, it was possible at the start of the round. With every new future there are bugs, glitches or so called exploits. I always try to find new glitches, bugs or things to glitch for fun. I was amazed that the Gold dupe through the new function “marketplace’’ was possible.
There was 5 gold for sale on the Marketplace for $2,000. My gf, and I accepted it at the very same time. We both got 5 gold, and both lost $2,000. This would mean if a Friend listed 100 gold for just $100, we could accept 200 gold for just $200. My friend only would’ve sold 100, and we now had a total sum of 200 gold.
Amazed as I was, I contacted Sky through the “chat” function. I asked “Hello, are you there”? He responded “No I am not” On which I said; “Oh, nevermind then I found a Gold dupe”
I explained how and a few minutes later he BM’d me saying it was fixed. He then sent me $22,222
I gracefully said thank you, but I thought 'WTF'. Only $22,222?! So I asked if there was more in the barrel where it came from. He kindly refused.
It’ll be the last time I’ll report an exploit. I’d rather have fun with it next time. If this was not found in time the Round could’ve started badly for a lot of players. Not the mention the E.G. would’ve had a lot of work making the round cool again.
