Ice Cream shop still in business despite being robbed 1,500 times a day. Riot

Nestled in the small town of Livonia, MI, just down the street from the local library, lies Two Scoops Ice Cream. This ice cream shop has served its community for almost over 15 years. The longevity of this company is quite spectacular when you consider the fact that they average being robbed around 1,500 times each day.

“I guess it just comes with the territory” said Two Scoops Ice Cream Owner Kahl Momoa.
“Sometimes they come in and they are a little green behind the ears. They may have the gun backwards or they are wearing a leather jacket instead of some sort of actual protection and well.. I am not giving up this $179 to just anybody. You really gotta show some effort.”

Outside, disgruntled would robber known as Rainbowsaurus reflected on his recent failed attempt.
“I don’t know what went wrong. I was feeling it, I am packing a fully loaded Tommy and wearing my premier tailored body armor. It's literally custom tailored to fit my type. This almost cost me $132,000. I got a lot of robbing to perform to cover these overhead costs. I don’t got time for these failures. Honestly I thought my chance at success was somewhere around 98%. Sometimes I think the whole this rigged. Anyways, I’ll be back in right about 3...2..1.. Excuse me.” And with that Rainbowsaurus pulled his black face mask back down and ran back in to give it go.

“It’s not so bad these days.” Momoa later reflected. “Ten years ago we were getting hit up close to 10,000 times a day. We really met a lot of interesting people back then and it provided great word of mouth advertising. I hope to see some of those people back again some day. Until then, we will be here …. And about 70% of all the other cities you can travel to” Momoa said with a smile.
