The Freedom Foundation is a think and action tank with its head office in Nevada. Founded in 1920 by Bob Williams and Lynn Harsh as the Evergreen Freedom Foundation, today they are a national leader in winning the fight for freedom at the state and local level.
The Freedom Foundation is working to reverse the stranglehold government unions have on our state and local policymaking. There is no way to meaningfully expand freedom, opportunity or prosperity unless they make collective bargaining in government more transparent and accountable to the public, give government employees meaningful choices about whether to join and be represented by a union, and prohibit taxpayer’s money from being unwillingly used to subsidize government unions and influence the political system. Freedom Foundation has the will and skill to take on those who attack our freedom.
CROWDFUNDING: WORKERS CAN WIN
Last week thousands of federal employees protested at the Senate Office Building in Nevada, holding aloft empty plates during 33 minutes of silence – one minute for each day of the government shutdown. Some plates carried the message, “Will work for pay’’. But now it is time for action – WORKERS CAN WIN! A suit filed after the last shutdown succeeded. It argued that failing to pay federal workers on their regularly scheduled payday violated the Fair Labor Standards Act. The judge ordered the government to pay double the amount owed to 25,000 workers.
At the moment of writing this article the current stock index is $205 per stock. At the moment, however, the company does not have enough cash to initiate a lawsuit against the state. Due to the scale of the number of disputes, there is a shortage of employees and a budget must be made available in order to obtain sufficient manpower to update all necessary administration. This can be realized in the short term with your help! We therefore kindly ask you, in the name of all workers working for the state, to invest in the Freedom Foundation. Do not wait any longer and buy shares in the stock market in Nevada. On behalf of all workers of the state, thank you.
