Major events take place over the course of a couple of weeks. There are currently 2 major events that take place each year. Major events feature their own currencies and their own stores.

====Winter In New York====
Jobs - Jobs are similar to missions and may have a "cool down" before you can advance to the next job.

Treasure Hunt - The start of the treasure hunt begins with the players collecting a sticker sheet and their first clue. Players must follow the clues and collect all the stickers to find the treasure at the end of their journey.

Feast - Feast of the Seven Fishes takes place around December 24th/25th. Players can send a photo or voice message for everyone to see/listen to during the feast. A 7 course meal can also be had during this time and an achievement gained on completion of the meal.

Bar/Meals - A new Bar/Restaurant opens during the winter event with its own special drinks. These drinks may reduce energy costs for crimes or auto thefts or they can reduce the organized crime timer, the rackets timer or your travel timer. A meal at Roccos can be had to increase your [[Criminal Energy]] and [[Mastermind Energy]] after each bite. Completing a meal at Roccos would reduce your OC timer by 4 hours.

Ornaments - Ornaments are collected by completing different in game actions. Crimes, Auto theft, Jail busting and Organized crimes all give you ornaments. These ornaments can be used at the event store at 5th Avenue in New York to buy some [[Items]], [[Cars]] or exchanged for different currencies.

Cars - There are 2 special cars which can be obtained during the Winter In New York event.

The Snowmobile which allows you to go on a winter getaway (Must be driving the car then visiting the travel page). The winter getaway will give you 2x your current energy pool, 25% faster energy recharge rate and 100 rejuvenation points. Rejuvenation points can be used on the [[Home]] page.

The Candycane Speedster Allows you to participate in a weekly race held in Atlantic City every Sunday. A reward is given for placing in the top 3.

Each bird has a different rarity and a different reward in coconuts based on its rarity.

Coconuts/Store - Coconuts are obtained by completing various in game actions. Some [[Items]] may increase the number of coconuts you gain while doing different in game actions. Coconuts can be used at the Tiki store to advance your Ku'ialua skill or to obtain items. You may also exchange your coconuts for various currencies or ammo. Peridot gems can also be exchanged at the Tiki store.
