Protection, most commonly known as beginners protection, prevents other players from whacking you when you first begin a new life. Listed below are all the ways you may lose this protection.
- Reaching the rank of Boss (Ranks)
- Banking $10,000,000 or more in the Local Bank
- Holding any property
- Being in a Crew
- Whacking another player
- Having more than 10 concurrent searches using Private Investigators
- Living for more than 14 days
- Having someone beat up in Jail (keys to the yard)
- Using a lead arrow
- Using a Baseball Bat
