Casino: a fraction of fame iAir

As you saw in the teaser, there was a quote that I noticed someone saying in the Game Forum one day - something that caught my eye. It was from TunnelVision. Have you noticed how the majority of casino’s are set to a pointless max? It leaves you to ponder that they have the casino’s just to have their name stand out on the States page.

The States page is most probably one of the most viewed pages with people constantly checking there to see who owns what and in which state. With that said, it gives you your claim to fame. But is that now the only reason why people buy their casino’s?

Casino’s used to be a business - people would moan when owners would play their maxes to their advantage… yet it ‘was’ a business. People craved for the high maxes people set and had fun winning them. It has all seemed to have changed lately with most casino’s set at around a $10 max. Where’s the fun in that?

The fun is nowhere - and more people are beginning to get fed up with it. There were shootings that were casino-based due to low maxes which signed the frustration amongst some players. Some show this frustration through topics in the Game Forum, which not only pesters the HDO’s but it also makes people more agitated by this casino annoyance. But what can be done about it?

Not much - only that people can buy and raise but then when it’s won, we’re back to the same story again. Low maxes.

Over the past week or so I have noticed people stating that all casino’s should be under the same rule as Keno’s. For those that are unfamiliar with this, I’ll explain. If you win a Keno you can have the max bet as low as $100. If you decide to change the max from that, it can only be set to a minimum of $10,000 but if you were to buy one through the use of Escrow, you can only set the max at a minimum of $2,500. Once you raise the max above $10,000 you cannot lower it below that amount.

So it makes you wonder if this kind of idea should be set to all casino’s now with the ever-growing waste of casino usage. What’s the point in a casino if people can’t gamble on them? Answer--fame.

Owning a casino can give you that extra fraction of fame that playing regularly won’t give you. Your name is noticed above others and some people crave for this kind of attention. Although don’t feel too safe as fame comes at a price. I’m sure it won’t be too long before someone else starts shooting to try and get casino’s where they used to be… gambling.
