Pledge of the Respectables TheSkyOrBust

With every day bringing the game more and more Respectable Dons, the power struggle in the game continues. Crews fight amongst themselves over dishonor and scandal, races wage war against other races and in some cases the entire game, and ranks cull down lower ranks for shameless sport. Not even Dons themselves are safe from the new crowd of Respectable Dons. I asked our trusty Help Desk Operator Browneyes for an interview on her becoming a Respectable Don:

Sky:
Firstly: What number R Don were you?

Browneyes:
Number 2. Sweetie was Number 1.

Sky:
How do you think becoming R Don has affected your status on the game?

Browneyes:
It hasn’t besides getting bugged for OCS.

Sky:
Do you think you gain any more respect because of such a unique rank?

Browneyes:
Not really I think respect is earned through game play, rank is just a rank.

Sky:
Do you think being among the first of the R Dons has changed how you play the game?

Browneyes:
I slowed down and started gambling.

Sky:
Has your new rank affected how you view lower ranks such as Thugs and Hitmen?

Browneyes:
Never.

Sky:
Who do you think the first L Don will be?

Browneyes:
Sweetie.

So while the amount of R Dons forever inclines, the view they take on the game and lower ranks does not. But does the view of someone that has to be neutral to certain players as a part of their job fully express this side of the issue? I asked BadGerben and palmman the same questions:

Sky:
Firstly: What number R Don were you?

BadGerben:
I was number 6

Sky:
How do you think becoming R Don has affected your status on the game?

BadGerben:
I think some, I got alot of BootMails from people congratulating me on becoming an R Don and there was a topic on the game forum so I think more people know me now.

Sky:
Do you think you gain any more respect because of such a unique rank?

BadGerben:
Maybe so, but I don’t think rank is the only way to gain respect, its also how you treat people in the game and the way you play it.

Sky:
Do you think being among the first of the R Dons has changed how you play the game?

BadGerben:
After becoming Don I became a bit bored with crimes and such...but then I became the 6th R Don and I got motivated again to become one of the first L Dons

Sky:
Has your new rank affected how you view lower ranks such as Thugs and Hitman?

BadGerben:
No all people are the same to me, unless they disrespect other people.

Sky:
Who do you think the first L Don will be?

BadGerben:
Sweetie

Sky:
Firstly: What number R Don were you?

Palmman:
5th

Sky:
How do you think becoming R Don has affected your status on the game?

Palmman:
Nothing much, I just play the game for my own pleasure.

Sky:
Do you think you gain any more respect because of such a unique rank?

Palmman:
Not really, some players may look up to me but it’s about the same from when I became don.

Sky:
Do you think being among the first of the R Dons has changed how you play the game?

Palmman:
Don’t think so I still play the game like I was peewee or thug, I joined a crew and im doing a little less crimes and GTA’s but that’s all.

Sky:
Has your new rank affected how you view lower ranks such as Thugs and Hitmen?

Palmman:
No it has always been the same for me considering ranks, when I accept lower ranks in my cob’s I always try to give them a good %(unless they don’t want any of course).

Sky:
Who do you think the first L Don will be?

Palmman:
Sweetie. Browneyes maybe.

The new wave of R Dons is affecting the players in no other way than them getting a bit more infamy. From the two R Dons I interview at considerably short notice, you can notice a pattern emerging that no matter how quickly you get to R Don, or if you ever get to R Don at all, you will be treated no differently. The R Dons honorably demand no more respect that they already have. We can now all eagerly await the first Legendary Don, who popular consensus would say is going to be Sweetie.

Update: Congratulations Browneyes and Sweetie on their L Don-ness.
