New Crew: The Taedium PerseveranceV2

Many Bootleggers users aspire to own a crew, and plan for many months before they are able to successfully execute a movement onto the stats page. However the most recent addition to the stats, The Taedium, which when translated into English means The Boredom, made their sudden arrival onto the statistics page for different reasons. The crew is primarily run by GuanDied and his close friend The4400. We at the buzz caught up with GuanDied to find out about the new crew, its goals and why they decided to bring The Taedium to the stats.

The spot now names The Taedium was previously occupied by The Blood Pact, and was sold for 650 points and $10,000,000 by TyzzanLuvsMiley. The arrival of the new crew appeared relatively unplanned, compared to some which are carefully thought out, this was confirmed as we asked GuanDied about the spot, to which his response was, “Well as most of you guys know, me and The4400 are some big gamblers. Yesterday we were gambling again and it started to get a little bid boring. So we said: Hey let's buy a crew! So we did, and we called it: The Taedium, which is Latin for: The Boredom.” This may be viewed by many as a strange reason to purchase a crew spot, on boredom alone, however others have argued that if you have the resources, go for it!

The Taedium may translate into The Boredom; however this has no part to play in the actions the crew are planning on undertaking. As we asked GuanDied what the future plans would be for the crew, he said, “We are just here to have a lot of fun and have a great time with each other. We are not here to kill and shoot etc. We are peaceful crew.” Many may argue that shooting is one of the most entertaining parts of the game, however with these two gamble addicted Bosses at the helm, there is likely to be plenty of fun to be had!

With recruiting policies being the key to both success and downfall of many crews, the interview could not be concluded without asking GuanDied what policy The Taedium would adopt. He said, “Like I said before, we just want to have fun with a group of friends, so for now at least, only friends may join the crew. Also possibly for some old crew members from previous crews I've had or been in.” So all doors shut unless you are a friend or ex crew member.

This concluded our brief interview with Guan, clearly him and the other Bosses of The Taedium plan on making their crew a fun and lively place to be, with minimal bloodshed involved in this, however with crews regularly being shot; only time will tell if they are able to successfully do this!
