Owners of Pennsylvania? Mikamon

Almost everybody knows the colored spaces on the Establishment page, showing the land is owned by a player who is part of a crew. Usually these spaces are random and have no significance, apart from reminding you the player is in fact in a crew. However, all of the sudden the Pennsylvania Establishment page said, EH. Not in actual text, but in Estalbishments. After a couple of weeks, Event Horizon had succeeded in forming the crew initials on the page, buying or shooting for land in order to make it happen. The Buzz met with the creator of this scheme, Addorable.

The Pennsylvania Establishment pages says "EH"

He said, “Well, the idea first came to me when I was looking for a safehouse that a friend could use. I guess I saw some pattern or something in the establishment page and then out of the blue it hit me, why not make a logo written out in some certain way.” To which he added, “And of course there couldn't be a better idea than creating a big " E H " all over the page.” After finding out how the plan had been born, the Buzz was of course curious as to how Event Horizon had managed to pull it off.

“Creating the mark came outomaticly with the idea, I took a screen shot of Penny establishment page and put the EH mark on it and that's how it stayed. I presented my idea in the CF and it was so well accepted that it was almost impossible not to follow it through,” Addorable told us. He ellaborated, “A system was set up where crewmates picked a certain piece of land they would be responsible for and people were more than willing to try to contact the land owners and ask for the land.” After which he explained the details of the plan, “All in all there was 21 land that we needed,” he said. “Two were already owned by crew members and soon we found out that some were owned by friends and some by players that were more than willing to sell.”

However, the plan did not go without bloodshed, as there were some people who were not willing to sell their land to the crewmembers at all. Still, these players could not prevent Addorable and Event Horizon from completing their scheme. “We shot fewer than 10 accounts,” Addorable said. “Most of that were inactive players but also few that did not reply to our messages or plainly refused to sell.” He included, “The bullets spent should be between 150 and 200k. It's a little harder to estimate the money spent as almost noone cared how much was put into the project, only that it was completed.” Nevertheless, he was able to provide us with an estimate, “around 200 mills spent all in all in points and money.”

All in all, it took Event Horizon eleven days to fully complete the plan and put their crew up on the Establishment page, literally speaking of course. Now that Pennsylvania is under their control, will other states follow? “I doupt that we'll go from state to state with this idea,” Addorable said. “But who knows, we might unleash our creative thoughts on some other state in the future.” The average player was postive about what Event Horizon has pulled off, support was shown throughout several forum threads, and some even speculated on which crew would be the next to try something simular. Whether or not that will happen remains unknown, but we will notice... in the future.
