Path To Hell Nobody

Who was it? Why and how did it happen? That's what many people were thinking when random names were appearing on the Statistics page who belonged to Revelation. So now it's time to remeniss over this event and find out what actually happened.

The attack was performed by not just one person as many were lead to believe. It was one shooter but a team of attackers. With Banes, Swat, Vaups, Paldum and Volker involved they were known as The Other Path.

So what were they about and why did they attack Revelation? To that question there is a simple answer of, "to make fun" as said by Thorium. As many were aware, Thorium was the shooter but many were unaware of who else was involved. Banes and Swat were to have paid the most part of the attack and Thorium was simply chosen because he wanted to kill. Thorium was aleady trained with a Hitsquad and was decided as the one to shoot. People were starting to become relaxed in Bootleggers and forgetting the real reason behind it's creation - to kill. The use of crews also seemed to have been going on a low where people do not 'fear' them anymore. Revelation were known to be one of the strongest crews around but yet, as proved, nobody is able to fend off an unknown attack.

What if it were a smaller crew? Surely, as many would have guessed, it could have been done easily but The Other Path were not bothered about a Crew Spot. They wanted to prove to people what Bootleggers is all about. Thorium stated that "with some good planning and a nice amount of points you can hurt anybody", which I believe to be very true and a high point in this attack. It leaves us with many questions as to pondering over the fact of, how safe is it to run a crew on the Stats page? Is it worth the hassle when you can do things the same, with a lot less risk but not on the Statistics? It leaves us to wonder.

In regards to the planning process it was said to have taken little over a week to have it fully planned. The Other Path had original ideas to do something big but were never sure of exactly what to do - but with their stash of points and dedication to the job, they decided to take action and on 22 December, at precisely the hour of 23:38 [Dutch Time], the shooting began.

Although the casino's were the last of their worries they ended up taking over Nevada Slots, Pennslyvania Slots & Bullet Factory and California Bullet Factory. These properties seemed to have been passed around since the kills.

When asked about the recent takeover of Mr Hansamann's Legion Thorium said that "I dont like the way they talked in the forum claiming they had the biggest take-over this reset", which seemed like a very fair comment. Although when asked if the takover had any implication on their decision to attack Revelation, Thorium stated "no we made plans to attack revelation a while ago". As many would agree that even though Revelation was not taken over, it made a much bigger impact on Bootleggers than that of the takeover of Mr Hansamann's crew.

So now it leaves us with the Statistics behind the attack. Let's take a look at how much finance went into it:

Bullets Used: 1.1mil
Points Used: An estimated 25,000
Total Kills: 37
Stats on Deaths: 6 Dons, 29 Legendary Godfather's, 2 Godfather's

When talking about the huge amount of bullets used, Thorium jokingly said "it took me more then 3 hours to get 1.1 mil bullets... stupid please retry page". So thanks to the ever so controversial 'Please Retry' page, the attack was delayed by a few hours. The points were used for bullets, instant travel, training of gun, buying enough cars for every state and picking up properties that were killed for.

So there we have it - the attack against Revelation. It was completely random in the eyes of the regular Bootlegger and proved to be a big hit in the forum with many RIP topics but where does that leave us now? In the knowledge that no crew is safe when you "have good planning and a nice amount of points".

But there was one small piece of information that was only retrieved very late - there was a man on the inside of Revelation - FatherChristmasx
