VooDooDoll - Interview conartist125

As most of the Bootlegger’s community already knows, VooDooDoll was promoted to the elite rank of a Help Desk Operator. Almost immediately, an uproar of approval raged through the forums. For months, a number of Bootleggers hinted at the idea of having VooDooDoll as a Help Desk Operator and Sabin, finally noticing this, threw up the offer to her via bootmail and late Saturday evening the prayers of some Bootleggers' were answered. The following is an interview that I conducted with our newest Help Desk Operator:

Q: Who contacted you about this job?
A: Sabin

Q: How did he contact you?
A: He sent a bootmail, with a quick quiz and then the offer

Q: Were you surprised by the offer?
A: Yes, very much

Q: Did you have any second thoughts about accepting the job?
A: No, not really

Q: Even last reset, people have been saying that you should be a Help Desk Operator, how do you respond to that?
A: I tried my best to ignore them. If someone wanted me to be a HDO then they would have contacted me.

Q: Have you made any new “friends” from this?
A: Haha, yes, my inbox has been spammed a few times with some of my fans, but mostly, my close friends remained close.

Q: Next step after Help Desk is, of course, Moderator. How do you feel about that?
A: I am not focusing on that. If the time comes, I will make a decision.

Q: Has your life as a Bootlegger changed since becoming a Help Desk Op?
A: Not really. I still play like a normal player. The only difference is now I have responsibilities that I must tend to.

Q: Have you become friends with some of the current Help Desk Ops?
A: Of course I have

Q: Do you enjoy helping Bootleggers through the Help Desk?
A: Yes. The forums can be a difficult place to ask a question, and the Help Desk is a place where people can turn to and expect a respectable, non-bias answer.

Q: What do you say to the people that think you don’t deserve the title?
A: I am sorry 

A: No problem

In conclusion and in my personal opinion, VooDooDoll is going to be a great Help Desk Operator. In just 3 days, she hit the 100 closed ticket milestone and is quickly yet steadily placing herself among the top Help Desk Operators already.
