Bugs n' Glitches radixradi

Many of us consider ourselves avid players of Bootleggers, and because of its addictive nature and most possibly because of our infinite desire to inflate our bank accounts and our ranks, Bootleggers players are always quick to spot bugs and glitches in the game.

Many users shared with me that amongst the most annoying perceived bugs, the notorious “Please Retry” screen hits the top of the charts. When two or more requests are made to the server in a small period of time by the same user, a message shows up:

Quote:
Please Retry
You are seeing this error because you attempted to do two or more actions too quickly. To prevent seeing this, slow down your clicks. You can view pages as often as you want, but you need to space out your submitting.

Users believe it serves no purpose currently after the timers were added, and MaximusOfRome added “Since the feature was added because people kept refreshing to make sure they did their crimes on time, it isn’t necessary anymore after the timer solved that, we just click when the timer hits 1 second and do it exactly at two minutes.”
When asked why it’s bothering him flugel said: “Because when you need to do something fast or something else, it’s annoying because it pops up every time.” Avanesian added: “Because I’ll have to do to the same thing again, for example: when playing on Keno, the numbers disappear, when removing searches for a kill etc etc, it takes unnecessary more time and it’s annoying.”

Also high on the annoying list is the Arm Wrestling bug, many players claim that they were informed by the Help Desk Operators that “If you started the match at 99% on the highest level in your weight class, you can’t be beat!”. Still many users insist that they lost many matches and millions of dollars in the process. While Sabin hasn’t commented on the topic, HDO insist that “it should” work.
Usually bugs and glitches were fixed quickly, but some have cost people all their money, their lives or even their crews. Kayasaurus told stated that, “ones that I have found are always reported and fixed. But if you mean old ones, well, there was a recent incident where we had a bug that would allow crews to drop during a wipe before all the boss+ accounts are dead.”

Whether real or imagined, bugs and glitches are part of the continuous effort on the part of our programmers to keep the game improving and developing, the best way to overcome them is to report them to the Help Desk. We wish the game could improve otherwise but C'est la vie. So, let’s try to be supportive.
