MPOGD.com's Game of the Month! Nyxxinator

This week, players are getting the chance to vote for the game we all know and love, Bootleggers!

Held every month, MPOGD.com's "Game of the Month," competition is taking every Multiplayer Online Game listed on the website and putting them to the ultimate test! Anyone, registered or not, is allowed to vote for their favorite game they feel is deserving of the title. After winning the competition in January of 2007, Bootleggers is now eligible to win the competition again!

This time, however, the competition is a bit more meaningful of everyone playing the game and I'm sure the pressure is on BSF2000. With one of Bootleggers' rival games also taking an active part in the competition, the heat is on and votes are needed to prove that Bootleggers really is number one!

Bootleggers has one the "Game of the Month" competition two times before. The first time was back in December of 2005 and the second in January of 2007. Is it our time to shine for a lucky third win? "The Multiplayer Online Games Directory's Game of the Month is chosen by players as the premier game for that month. All playable games listed are capable of winning this award although a game can win the award only once a year," stated www.mpogd.com's website about the rules of the competition.

Although you are only allowed to vote once every 24 hours, as of March 8th, 1547 people have voted for the game, winning us a total of 1,500 bullets! Due to the incentives BSF2000 has given every player this time (and every time in the past), for every 500 votes, players get 500 bullets. Is the incentive worth your vote?

Some players do not feel so, believing that the game is not deserving of their vote. "I'll only vote if I think BL deserves it," stated BrownPaperBag in the IMPORTANT stickied topic created by BSF2000.

While on the other hand, 1,547 votes proves that incentives do something and that the game is well liked. "The game is definitely going in the right direction. It deserves my vote and everyone else's," stated a player who asked to remain anonymous.

As of March 5th, 500 bullets were given to players and only two days later on March 7th, 500 more bullets were given. However, now due to the fact that we passed the 1,500 mark, another 500 bullets are headed our way!

With it only being the beginning of the month, if statistics and math prove us right, at the end, we can see a total of 2,500 to 3,000 votes, giving us all a generous 2,500 to 3,000 bullets.

Good luck Bootleggers, let's show the competition what we're made of!
