Defeating the Lag? NyxxiPoo

If you recall, three issues ago I created an article explaining the horrid lag we have all been going through. Each Bootleggers' page took at least 7 seconds for my High Speed Internet to load up. I hated to blame the game I enjoy playing, but it certainly wasn't coming from my end.

We did a little investigating as a team of Bootleggers Buzz Writers and came that the only place the lag could be coming from was the forums. Lo and behold, old topics (although deleted from the forum) were not deleted from the actual database themselves.

This shocked me. I, of course, assumed it was this way so moderators can easily look into help desk tickets more thoroughly and find correct reasons to ban players reported. However, this definitely seemed like a reason for the lag-- at least to me.

It has been two weeks since the publish of that article. On April 13th, 2008, We were all greeted by a hard working BSF2000. So hard working, in fact, that the game was down for a while here and there and we were bombarded by evil nodes!

When the game came back up, the entire Game Forum was completely clear of any topic (aside from the sticked and important ones). Each new topic made started from the ID number of 1. It seemed as if BSF2000 read the Buzz and took our investigation to action by fixing the problem!

Could this be the end of the horrid lag, only time will tell! But at least in the back of my head, I can thank the Buzz a little bit for the solution to it all. Oh yeah, we can't forget to thank to big man as well!
