A Year in Green Mika
“Your yellow color will no longer be needed,” that was how things started for Riserva. Being invited into a conversation with Sabin and 5litre he could not help but feel worried when the latter warned him not to anger Sabin more than he already had. As the conversation progressed, however, it became clear that Riserva had fallen victim to a strategy Sabin and 5litre had used before: he had been fooled, and instead of being reprimanded he was promoted. Moreover, he found that his yellow color was, indeed, no longer needed. A little over a year ago, Riserva left the ranks of players and joined the Bootleggers staff as a member of the Elite Guard, trading the nickname of BoBy for the name he signed up with first.

He described his year as “a fun adventure.” Apart from having been promoted so he could enjoy the privileges and pressure of being part of the Bootleggers staff he has grown accustomed to the green color and everything it involves. Despite the benefits of the position there is also a feature Riserva truly misses, “the only feature I trully miss is the Kill feature. If Mods had that, that would be awesome!” Unfortunately, being able to kill is one of the advantages Riserva gave up when he decided to accept the green jacket. “I have really enjoyed being a part of the Staff in the past year,” he said as he reflected on the past year. “I love the fact that I am a part of an amazing team, who make the job more than what it is... They make it fun!”

In addition to wonderful colleges, Riserva was also thrilled to experience a reset from the perspective of a Moderator, “All I can say is... wow.” Some time had already progressed before Riserva was to experience a reset, which contributed to his overall experience as a staff member. Experience which he had gained over time. “As time goes by and as you gain more experience, you grow more confidence in your actions,” he said. “You tend to get things done much faster as you know how the entire process goes by heart.” Even though he knows the process now, it does not mean that the job has become dull. On the contrary, Riserva still has aims and hopes for the future. “I am hoping for a promotion to Senior Moderator, but that is up to BSF2000 and 5litre to decide.”

For one year, Riserva has been in green and he is still happy to be where he is. After thinking he was getting fired, it turned out the exact opposite was happening. “It does not feel like a year,” Riserva said as he agreed with what Nyxxie and him had said in a conversation. “It feels like fifty! Heh.” Regardless of how it felt, it has only been one year and Riserva is positive about the future and that what it holds. What that is, though, remains to be seen and will no doubt be found out. After all, like Albert Einstein said, “The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once.”
