Player of the Week! Frick

Written in co-operation with Sean.

Many of you have seen our popular 'Crew of the Week' article, and many of you who seen it, read it. So, the Buzz have decided to take the next step: 'Player of the Week.' Every week, the Buzz will review one special player. The player we choose will be deserving of the position most (first kill, created first crew, reached a rank first, etc.), contact them, and set up an interview. This week, the Buzz chose TFKyle as Player of the Week, as he has reached the rank of Hitman first, Assassin first, Boss first, Respectable Boss first and he created the first ever crew.

To begin the interview, the Buzz asked Kyle how it felt to be the first ever player of the week. He said, "I am not too sure. On one hand, I feel great that I have been recognised this way, but on the other, I feel I'm a bit over-rated. I mean, no-one can even remember the first Respectable Boss of last round." To follow, we asked him how he ranked to fast. He replied with, "I did a couple of things that allowed me to edge out the competition. Firstly, whenever I did a crime, I clicked the crime I would rank to do next, instead of waiting to the end in the two minute timer. Secondly, if I noticed a captcha, I went to do some Arm Wrestling, rather than waiting for the timer to run out, or even getting the captcha wrong."

The Buzz then asked Kyle how it felt to create the first crew. He said, "I didn't really feel anything to begin with, really. I was more happy about being able to tell people the prices for crews. Then, I started to get paranoid that, because I was the only Boss in the crew I was holding, that I'd have a big target painted across my forehead. But, I lost that paranoia when other members hit the rank. Also, I was a bit worried we wouldn't be able to meet the taxes, but we did, thankfully." Next, we asked Kyle who HE would make the next player of the week, and why. He said, "I can't think of anyone who has done anything too interesting this week. However, to choose now, I'd probably go with SamuraiX, as he did two police car OCs within the first two weeks, and obtained the first bullet factory in the round, and I think those are some pretty great achievements to ones name."

We then decided to move the interview away from the whole 'player of the week' aspect, and ask Kyle a few questions on Bootleggers politics. Firstly, we asked Kyle what he thought of the reset. He said, "It's hard to think bad of the reset, as without it, I would not even be playing again. Most of the changes I have seen are good, well, except that Sabin quit. However, I think a few things still need tweaking, like crimes, as it takes a while for the percents to go up, which, in turn, may drive new players away from the game. Also, I suspect that booze prices will go up soon, but not to their normal prices, just to a price were players can make a good profit, but I'm sure BSF will fix everything in time." And, secondly, we asked Kyle what he thought about the new rules on harrassment. He said, "Well, to be honest, I'm not perfectly clear on them at the minute. Though, I do understand that staff will intervene less, I don't really get why. Yes, there are some stupid arguments, which, in the end, can be sorted by a gun, or the filter button. But, there are real arguements, which can make a player feel like crap."

Lastly, the Buzz decided to ask Kyle a few silly questions. The first of those asked Kyle if he was a cat or dog person. He answered, "I've always loved horses. Horses are awesome, always a good idea to have a pet you can ride (not sexually!). But, to choose between the two, I'd have to go for dog, as I've never had a cat, and I don't know what they're really like." And, to conclude the interview, the Buzz asked Kyle what he thought of the taste of cardboard. He said, "I love the way it tastes, to be frank. It's my third favourite food, after chocolate and pizza! The texture is exquisite, add some salt, maybe an egg, and you have a full blown dinner. What's not to love?!"

The Buzz would like to thank TFKyle for the interview. And, we hope one of you players can do something fantastic next week, so we can have a guarenteed player of the week! Thank you very much for reading.
