Bootleggers - Is it boring? AceAdam

Whilst browsing the forums this week I noticed a topic entitled "Remember when..." made by Anonymity. This topic was basically a complaint on how Bootleggers has changed throughout the years and has become more boring.

The main issues that were brought up in the topic were the days missed when we used to have 2000+ players online at any one time, there were other positions in a crew such as LHM and RHM, the game forum and IRC chat was much more active, casino's had a good value and not just one rich guy with loads of points could own the game.

In my opinion, I think people are not enjoying Bootleggers as much because now you have to work harder than previous resets to stock bullets, get cash and to rank up. Whereas before, it was much easier (that is just laziness). Also, there is no specific kill formula set out so it's harder for players knowing exactly how many bullets to shoot. Furthermore, since BSF2000 and Sabin have more or less made the game "cheat-proof", the players who can't be bothered to work for anything instead decide to either quit or just ridicule the game.

One thing I do not like within bootleggers is the time it takes to kill a person. This "updating" business annoys me and it must be especially annoying for crew wipers as it can take over an hour in some cases. Anyway, I think it is way too early for players to be saying that this round is boring. Everyone is still ranking and stocking. I'm sure in the near future we'll be seeing lots of crew wipes and activity! It will be fun again, just give it a chance!

Until then,
