Favorite Bootleggers Crew All Time! XVI

Lately, we from the Buzz had a contest up and running on the Game Forum where you were able to vote for your favorite crew. It was a pretty close voting, but from the beginning it was pretty obvious already who would be in the top five. The Invisibles, Winter Hill Gang, 23rd Gunslinger Co, The Deadly Alliance and The Order had a close fight in the beginning, with an equal amount of votes. Although they were very close the first day, it was also very obvious on the second day that the last three crews named wouldn’t be anywhere close to winning the vote. The Invisibles together with Winter Hill Gang dominated the lead and gained an advantage that they wouldn’t give away anymore. Excited as were at the Buzz when the voting went on, the contest had to end one day or another. With lots of joy and excitement we would like to share the results with you.

Winter Hill Gang: 39 Votes.
The Invisibles: 37 Votes
The Deadly Alliance: 26 Votes.
23rd Gunslinger Co: 17 Votes.
The Order: 15 Votes.

It’s time to give word to our number one, the boss of the winning crew, Franchise. For a long time now he has been boss of what seems to be the most favorite crew thus far, Winter Hill Gang. On my own behalf and that from the Buzz, we congratulate him, his members and whoever voted for his crew, again, Winter Hill Gang.

XVI: First of all, congratulations with winning the Favorite Bootleggers Crew All Time contest. Please, share us your first reaction.
Fran: We won? How the heck did we beat TI? Basically, I'm pretty shocked
XVI: It was a close call, how many votes you think you ended up in front of the runner up, The Invisibles?
Fran: I'm still in shock about passing them so I'll say 1.
XVI: What do you think the secret behind the success of Winter Hill Gang is?
Fran: Winter Hill Gang was an endless contradiction. We were stubborn yet flexible. Friendly yet fierce, fun yet serious. Part of that was due to an open door policy where people could come to me with concerns and once addressed if someone didn’t like the result they could leave for a day or longer or permanently without anyone thinking less of them. This led to an ever-changing membership and council, and when things change that often, the team, including its leaders learns to adjust to its surroundings.
XVI: Now you have reached this achievement, being voted all-time favorite crew in 6 years Bootleggers time, can we expect Winter Hill Gang back on stats in Round #6?
Fran: At this point I'm saying no. I'm currently co-boss of Tropa de Elita and quite happy, but you never know.
XVI: If I host the same contest somewhere next year, do you think you’ll end up first or at least in the top 3, again?
Fran: I would hope to be in the top 3 again.
XVI: I would like to thank you very much and again, congratulations with winning the contest. Please share some last words with us.
Fran: I'd like to thank everyone who voted for WHG and let them know how much it meant to me. I really was shocked. I also want to say WHG wouldn’t have been what it was without Gusto, Vibie, Ninja, and all of the council members throughout the years so thank you to them for helping me create something special.

Of course we from the Buzz would like to thank you all for voting as well. Also, to get a little feeling about the old days again, we would like to show the list of all crews that has been voted for. Congratulations to all of you too.
