Immortal Ghosts Retire xShane

This week Immortal Ghosts decide to retire. Why? Read on to find out.

Immortal Ghosts (IG) have officially decided to retire from Bootleggers this week. It came as a surprise to most as they have been on the stats for such a long time now. You could see the confusion in the game forum too. People were posting the questions, “Why are your members gone?” and “What is happening?” As soon as these questions appeared we at the Buzz got straight on to IG boss, Breeze.

We started off by asking Breeze why has she decided to retire IG from the stats. She told us, “After so many years I felt like its the right time to retire.” We understand that as the crew has been going an very long time and it seems like they might have had there time. However not all members are finished with Bootleggers. Breeze told us, “Some may retire with the crew, join friends in other crews or start something of their own.” So maybe IG might return with new members?

We got a little bit of history of the crew as well. Breeze told us, “ We began in 2004 with my brother (Deadlyimpact) as leader then returned a few years later and went on too have a long run on the stats avoiding a good number of hits throw at us and throwing a few out ourselves. I'm pleased with how well we have handled ourselves and can happily say it was a very successful crew.” IG have survived in the worst times and the best of times and are definitely one of the crews that will be missed.

One thing that struck us as odd was the name change that occurred. The name went from Immortal Ghosts to In Memorial To Woody. Now some people know Woody and who he was and some people don’t have a clue. Woody was the boss of TDA and a beloved friend to a lot of older players. Unfortunately Woody passed away before he should have. Since then a lot of friends and players made pictures and wrote on profiles to remember Woody. Breeze told us, “Woody was my old TDA boss and a legend and for my last parting I wanted to do something to remember him.” So Breeze named the crew after him. Showing how he was remembered and loved by many.

So Immortal Ghosts have officially retired. Some members will leave some will stay. We at the Buzz would like to thank you for providing us with writing material over the times and of course being one kick ass crew. To all IG members, good luck with whatever comes next. We are sure we aren’t the only ones who think that.
