Decisive attempt on Legion vanish

This week, Legion, who had barely recovered from their previous attack, were the victims again of a reckless shooting. This attack came, just like the last one, totally unexpected, with the result that Legion had no chance of defending themselves, nor to shoot back. This time it was a member of Komodo who handed out the shots, but he acted totally on his own. This attack was in many ways the last straw for Legion, and I not only mean that the strenght of the crew dropped significantly, the players have had it with Bootleggers.

We asked CowsGiveUsMilk, former member of Legion, what exactly happened:
“I was really shocked and surprised to be honest, I logged in and I was dead. Then I didn't believe that and thought it was only me but then it was all true, they were all gone! I was really disappointed and most of my crewmembers actually quitted playing! I always thought we were much less vulnerable than that... and also I couldn't really tell why we were wiped. They said the guy acted on his own... but come on we're not that stupid! Now we're back to the very beginning and hope we can get back up again although it's very unlikely.”

The fact that the shooter of this incident, NamCam, got banned immediately after his actions, makes it suggest that this is a case of cheating. Legion is therefore not to speak about the way they were killed, and they think it would be not more than fair to revive their accounts. This got rejected after a HelpDesk-ticket, which said “if the bullets were not bought with exploits then we will not revive the accounts," a very disappointing answer for Legion.

We talked to Reed_Rothchild4, killed boss of Legion. He and many other players from Legion experience this attack as the decisive attempt on their BL-life. “I quit playing BL's now since the shooter got banned shortly after us getting killed. I will not spend my time and effort on a game where someone who shouldn't even have an account can kill 30+ people get banned and they say the kills were good. That makes no sense to me. I am only logging on to talk with friends. I am taking my effort over to another game, like many have over the last few months. This game is dead and a lot of the players from Legion are quitting as well. I think there is a good chance that the only thing the legion will be used for is for us to talk to each other, but who knows.”

With 50% of the Legion crew quitting, and the other 50% barely coming online after the incident, I think the best days of Legion are over. There are still many crews left, for now, but how long will it take before they finally drop out and put an end to their BL-life?
