Behind The Name BuzzPoison

After a few weeks off, due to my inactivity, Behind The Name is back with three new victims!

Name: SchroedingersCat

What is your real name and age?
Jacob, 25.

Where do you live?
Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

How long have you played Bootleggers?
Several years, I'm not sure how many exactly.

Why did you start playing Bootleggers?
I had some time on my hands and a friend of mine told me about this game. We had big plans to create our own crew and everything.

How did you come up with your current username?
It's a kickass name. Am I alive? Am I dead? Who knows. It was mentioned in a movie I watched.

How do you feel about the current state of the game?
The game itself has stayed the same for a long time and the updates that did come didn't really improve anything, like the new moronic killing system. people seem to be going online out of habit, not because they actually like the game anymore.
I also think it's pathetic people blame the crews in control. People who are not "dominating" have themselves to blame because they let it come this far.

Is there any features or improvements you would like to see?
Pretty much anything would be an improvement now, but most of all BSF needs to get more active. It makes no sense that some casino's aren't even worth the pick up costs. it makes no sense a thompson is more expensive than a hitsquad. Just change some prices for a start.

What do you think about the call for some players for a reset? Do you think this would be a good idea?
A reset wouldn't fix anything. The people who are dominating the game at the moment are in that position because they know how to get resources (without just buying points with real money) so they'll just do it again after a reset. The game would stay the same, while some new features would be good.

Do you like the new crimes? Anything you would like to see changed or added to them?
I suppose they're ok, but seeing how expensive protection and guns are now, it takes ages to get the 5 up of the better cities. I doubt many people will get to the highest crime in the last city/cities anyway. I like the idea of having something new to unlock all the time, but it has to be within reason imho.

Do you like the Buzz? Any ideas for it or constructive criticisms?
I usually read it, at least the things that interest me. I'd imagine it's hard to fill it nowadays, so it's as good as can be expected really.

Name: NickHume

What is your real name and age?
Han, and I'm 19 years old.

Where do you live?
The Netherlands.

How long have you played Bootleggers?
Started playing late 2003/early 2004. Had 2 breaks of like 2 years each though.

Why did you start playing Bootleggers?
My brother dragged me into it

How did you come up with your current username?
I used to play with this name like 2-3 rounds ago aswell. Nick Hume is the main character of the movie 'Death Sentence'

How do you feel about the current state of the game?
It's pretty much dead atm, as we all can see

Is there any features or improvements you would like to see?
There's a lot I would like to see changed, but I'd really like to see a reset soon enough, and hope some old school players come back.

What do you think about the call for some players for a reset? Do you think this would be a good idea?
Yes as stated in my previous answer

Do you like the new crimes? Anything you would like to see changed or added to them?
I don't think the new crime system is great.. When the new crimes were introduced, I was really glad BSF finally did something, but he hasn't done anything since lol.

Do you like the Buzz? Any ideas for it or constructive criticisms?
Yes, I read it every week. Too bad there isn't much to write about last few weeks.

Name: M0udie

What is your real name and age?
Mister S

Where do you live?
In the Netherlands but I’m Moroccan

How long have you played Bootleggers?
Since 2006

Why did you start playing Bootleggers?
Friends told me about the games and i liked it

How did you come up with your current username?
Friends call me Moudie

How do you feel about the current state of the game?
BSF fucked it up

Is there any features or improvements you would like to see?
Forget all those new features and make the game like 2006

What do you think about the call for some players for a reset? Do you think this would be a good idea?
If the game looks like in 2006, then i would vote for a reset

Do you like the new crimes? Anything you would like to see changed or added to them?
No I don’t like them... The Mods wasted their time.

Do you like the Buzz? Any ideas for it or constructive criticisms?
Just make the game like it was and bring the old mods back.

Name: RandomActsOfLunacy

What is your real name and age?
James, 20

Where do you live?
England. That's the cool one that isn't Wales or Scotland, and all we do is drink tea and chat with the Queen.

How long have you played Bootleggers?
2003 or 2004, I forgot to remember.

Why did you start playing Bootleggers?
Peer pressure mostly, I was in school at the time and many of my classmates were playing, so I started too. Now, six or seven years later, I'm the only one left...

How did you come up with your current username?
I disapprove of the idea of random acts of kindness, I think too much kindness exists in the world. I think we all need to endeavour to do one random act of lunacy. Wear a dustbin on your head, yell at a bird, pour coffee on yourself in the middle of a shop and cry like a little girl, or stare at someone for slightly too long.

How do you feel about the current state of the game?
We're hardly in the glory days anymore but there's still a chance of revival if enough effort is put in by all parties involved. See issue 64 "Interview with Sky!" for full details.

Are there any features or improvements you would like to see?
Many, many, so many. Crews, Establishments, Kills, Auto Burglary, Hospital, well all of them really. Specifically? I don't get in to specifics. The aliens know what you're thinking when you get in to specifics.

What do you think about the call for some players for a reset? Do you think this would be a good idea?
Resets generally occur after a huge update, and a huge update is what's needed. A reset would only be a good idea once bugs are fixed and new features released, or once new features are ready to be released, at least.

Do you like the new crimes? Anything you would like to see changed or added to them?
I love the new crimes, it added depth to an otherwise dead-end feature. Well, more cul-de-sac than dead end I suppose. The chance to randomly steal from a fellow player who happens to be in the business at the time, or to find bullets, or even car keys, would be glorious though.

Do you like the Buzz? Any ideas for it or constructive criticisms?
You should fire that Poison guy, he's rubbish. Also you should write about certain people more often. I think we both know who I mean. There's nothing wrong with sycophantic praising you know.
