Kanton Destroys $1,700,000,000 Aldarionized

This week we witnessed an absolute massive drop in ingame money of a whopping 1,700,000,000 dollars, which equals a drop of about 36% of all ingame money. The spree was aimed to hit one crew in particular: Haters Gonna Hate, and by the looks of the results: it couldn’t have been much better. The Bootleggers Buzz had an interview with Kanton, who was responsible for the shootings.

An overview of the accounts that were killed by Kanton

Three crews were responsible for this massive drop of money: Event Horizon, Carnage and LSD. We first asked Kanton to tell us some details about the shooting crews and he told us, “Event Horizon provided points and money, Carnage provided information and points. and LSD delivered a shooter. I have friends in both EH and Carnage so i asked them to work together to face the arrogance of HGH. Nothing unites like a common enemy, I guess.” Then we went on to ask about the reason for this spree and Kanton said, “Since the game is being dominated by certain people, we thought that hitting their possible holders would be the best way to be a pain in their ass. I do think they expected an attack, but I'm not sure if they were prepared for an attack like this one.”

Kanton may have hit the nail on its head, surely some sort of attack was to be expected, considering the recent events. Particularly when Diplo picked up all remaining available bullet factories in the game some players feared another time of dominance would arrive. A factory provides free bullets to a crew, so it is an essential part to anyone who really wants to dominate the game. It’s what we saw when Haters Gonna Hate were on the stats as well: as soon as they were wiped they were almost nowhere to be seen compared to the amount of kills they did when they still had a crew. Long story short: an attack was expected. But this, I'm not quite sure whether they expected this.

It is common sense that tells us that the shooting will have some effect on the way things are running. Although it is rumoured that HGH still possesses a massive amount of money, it is clear that this hit them hard. More than a third of the total amount of ingame money was removed. We asked Kanton if he thought this would have any further consequences on the gameplay and he told us, “I'm not a fortune teller, all I can say is we evened the playing field out a little more once again.” We also asked him if there was more to expect in the future, “From me? I'm pretty much done shooting, so nothing major. I think it's time for some other people that have put a lot of effort in EH to take over. From EH? Not sure, that's Betty's call to make, but i doubt she's done just yet. From Carnage? They're pretty persistent little buggers, so my guess would be that they'll always find a way to annoy their enemies.”

To end the interview, Kanton left a message for HGH, “Just wanna thank HGH for bringing all my friends to the same side. It's so much more fun when everyone you work with is working towards the same goals.” Whether this spree will have a real effect on the way the game currently runs is yet to be seen, no-one knows the exact distribution of money amongst the different crew that are currently battling. One thing is for sure, though. This spree did hurt. A hell of a lot.
