Uno

Uno can be played in the Off Topic Forum by clicking "Add a Topic" then checking the box for Uno. As the host you can choose to have either a public, friends only or 1v1 game. The number of players allowed ranges from 2 to 20 and an entry fee can also be added. The final option as host is to either allow people to join at any time set it so that they can only join until the game starts.

How To Play

To join a game, click the Join button below. Some games may charge an entry fee to play, and you will need at least that amount on hand in order to take part. The game will start 60 seconds after a third person has joined, unless the game is a one-on-one in which case it will start as soon as a second person has joined. The winner is the first person to have no cards left.

Upon joining, you will be dealt 7 cards from a deck of four different colors valued from 1 to 9, action cards or Wild cards. These will be explained later in this guide. When it is your turn to play, you must select a card from your hand which matches the last card. If the previous card was blue, then you may play any blue card you have. If it was a 7, you may play any 7 regardless of color.

You can play a Wild card at any time. There are two different kinds of Wild card, W and WD4. W allows you to change the color of play, so if you don't have any yellow cards you can play a W and change play to a color you do have. WD4 allows you to change the color of play, but also forces the next player to draw four cards and be skipped. There are three other types of action cards, S, R and D2. S forces the next player to be skipped, R reverses the order of play, so the person who preceded you will now follow you, and D2 forces the next player to draw two cards at random and be skipped.

Every player will have 20 seconds to play a card before they are skipped. If they are automatically skipped twice in a row, they will be removed from the game. If the game has a pot, the winning or final player will receive whatever the value of the pot is.

At the end of the game, the winner will receive a score based on the cards still held by the other players. Action cards are valued at 20 score points, Wild cards at 50, and all other cards at their face value. A person's score is then shown next to their name in the list of players in italicized parentheses.

Hall of Fame

The hall of Fame will show the top 10 players of Uno along with your ranking at the bottom (if you are not top 10). The player with their games won, Score and Avg. score per game will be shown.
