This week is my first ever week being Bootleggers Buzz editor. I’m already getting the hang of it and I believe I’m going to enjoy bringing you the Buzz each week for many more weeks to come. We’ve had some exciting events this week, which lead of course to wonderful articles written by Bootleggers finest and we’ve covered it all folks!
ShyGuy hasn’t left the Buzz team (yet) so he covered the Enemy of The State wipe by various members of The Phoenix Rebellion who, after these events, decided to give their crew spot away. We now welcome the Jess Greenberg Foundation with its yellow crew color to the statistics page, right below The Elite Guard. Enemy of The State and The Phoenix Rebellion weren’t the only crews which left statistics page this week, it was La Onda who was also shot off, this time by no other then The Family! Our newest Illinois State Don Twisted turned out to be from The Family and showed us what a State Don can do with ease. Obviously, where some leave, others come; so we welcome back Jailbreak Paradise and Padrinos Palace to the statistics page, but also welcome House of the Rising Sun and congratulate them on obtaining an crew spot for their new crew. It wasn’t only crews who were targeted this week, also 27 crewless accounts had to say goodbye to their stats because Most Wanted decided they had to go! Just bad luck, or put on a list for a reason? It looked like any random action and even a writer of ours Liliana5 got shot, so who knows!
One of our other writers wrote a column related to these events: “Help! I’m going to be shot!” How do you act upon a warning that you might lose your account, how do you spend your final hours? It’s all there, I promise you! We also got the usual weekly articles such as Behind the Name, Once Upon A Time, Behind The Crew etc., but we also got a new returning article called ‘Something old, something gold’. This will feature an article written somewhere in the past years which is worth reading again or for the first time if you’ve missed it before.
I am also happy to present to you our two new writers. Did you read that correctly? Yes you did! Two new writers! Our Buzz team is growing each week and I, for one, am very pleased with that. I would like to introduce you to Fagin and PublicEnemy. These young brave men have volunteered to report every event on Bootleggers and We’re happy to have them! This week they both wrote a column, one being about the Stock Market feature, the other one being about the Kill feature. Both wonderful articles on top of an already great issue this week.
Last but not least, we’ve got a few freelance articles which can be read at the bottom. Please remember them being on the bottom doesn’t mean they aren’t any good, we’ve got another comic brought to you by RatFaceRayv4, an article about random shootings by RainbowDash and an article written anonymously about ShyGuy! This writer felt not all was said about his retirement and decided to write up a neat article him or herself. I suggest you stop reading my editor’s note and start catching up on all these wonderful events we covered. Enjoy!
