Welcome to 41st Issue of The Bootleggers Buzz!
What a week! A new programmer, the first State Don and several shootings. A busy week for The Buzz and fortunately a lot players joined the Buzz Team. Pjuttert, Santo, Yellows and TheWridgeHatesRR are now officially part of the Buzz Team and I’m looking forward to work with them. Back to the content of the week, because we have plenty stuff to write about.
Last week BSF2000 announced the new programmer at Bootleggers; Sky. Because the red jackets were sold out, he’ll still wear his old trusted Green jacket. Red or not, we have seen a lot updates this week: a profile counter, an organized crime counter, the bust party system and several other updates. Sky also fixed the State/Nation Don bug. This resulted in the first State Don of round 7; iRozan. Unfortunately the first State Don didn’t last long, he was killed a few hours after his promotion. Nevertheless, a very impressive achievement.
We also witnessed several crew wipes. This includes the weekly shooting on Event Horizon which we couldn’t cover, because it happened on a Saturday night. Not only Event Horizon were wiped this week. Padrinos Palace, Vatos Locos and Coscas Origin were also shot. We got that story covered in a long, but excellent article written by Aldo. The Phoenix Rebellion and Xian Guards were also attacked this week, but we at the Buzz couldn’t find enough material to write a proper article. That was the news for this week, but fortunately we have some fancy columns for you. We have a column about bust parties, the witness statement system, about the prices of points and a weekly article about crews. In case you want to earn some money, I suggest you read all the articles this week!
And last, but not least we promised one million dollar to the best freelance articles. Unfortunately we only received two freelance articles, so both authors will one million dollar.
