A good looking Buzz with all the news of this week and several columns, just for you! This week we witnessed the promotion of a new Help Desk Operator; RatFaceRay. Some of you may recognize his name. His name is in almost every Buzz! RatFaceRay is always located at the bottom of the Buzz, because he sends in a weekly joke. This wasn’t the only change in the ‘Staff team’. Buzz Writers are appearing blue at the users online page and soon they will appear blue on the Forums. I call it new costumes, Elite Guard calls them Smurfs and you can call them fantastic Buzz Writers!
That brings us to the content of the week. Once again, Event Horizon got attacked and we have an interview with the previous attacker of Event Horizon; Thercon. We also witnessed the shooting of PlusMinus, who killed several crewless accounts. Anything else happened this week? Did our new programmer, Sky, introduced any new features? The answer is yes. Players have now the ability to hire a Private Investigator to verify if their received witness statement is correct. This means victims can finally find out their true killer. Sky also fixed the crew tax bug, which means crews will disband once they don’t pay their daily tax. This wasn’t the only thing related to crews which got fixed. The amount of crews decreased to 10 this week. I suggest you read the article, written by Rakdos, about this change. Last but not least, Sky also updated several other features. For a summary about his updates, I suggest you visit the ‘Updates’ page.
We also have several other articles in this week’s Issue. We have an article about the last Russian Roulette which JackBauer won. We also have an article about the biggest Bust Party of this rounds so far; Aldarion’s Bust Party. And that’s not all this week. From now we have a ‘new’ weekly article; Behind The Name. One of our new writers, Pjutter, decided to bring it back. This week he asked some hilarious questions to three different players. Talking about new writers, this week we have another; Lemoncakes also known as Stow. He wrote an interesting column about playing underground, which he did for quite a long time. Last but not least, I’d like to point out that the Buzz Awards are coming. You can find more information in the article about the Buzz Awards, but most of the information will be given in the next Issue of the Bootleggers Buzz.
I’d like to thank all the players who wrote a freelance article this week. The freelance articles are definitely worth reading. Also, a big thumb for the Buzz Team, because this great Issue is their work, not mine. For those who live in the Netherlands and Belgium, enjoy ‘Sinterklaas’. Enjoy the read and have a good Sunday!
