Issue: 23   Editor: MsNyxxie

Editors note MsNyxxie

We should start off by wishing all the mother's out there a Happy Mother's Day. At 23, I know in my past I never really showed my own mother how much I appreciate her and as I've grown up, I realize that every little thing they do, no matter how annoying, uncool and mean it is, it all to keep us safe and healthy. You may not appreciate your mother now, but when it's too late, you'll wish you did. We all only get one mother. So today, I hope you all give your mom's (or mum's) a big hug and let her know how much you appreciate her. A bit sappy for the Buzz, so let's continue on.

This week, we've seen the first death of a State Don by the hands of a player. Although, in the past, we've seen the death of Andino, there is a big thing separating the two: the use of bullets. It took over 250,000 bullets to bring down Sweetie, while it only took 100 to take down Andino. No, this isn't a secret evil way for myself to bring in the power of a woman, but the importance of choosing the correct bodyguards and the coordination it takes to keep them all in the same spot as you at all times. If two bodyguards could of been in the same state as Sweetie, this story would of possibly never made it in the Buzz. Also, a big congratulations are in order for BartusaurusRex, our new New York State Don!

It seems as if BSF2000 and Sabin are quick at fixing those sudden bugs that hit the game after the weird SourceGuardian error. Although, I have to say, it was definitely cool to see the statistics page from August of 2005 for an hour or so. Unaware of what happened? About a week ago, Bootleggers mysteriously errored for everyone for a good 20 minutes. When the game returned back up, the Users Online list and statistics page were all of August of 2005. We saw unknown names in yellow and a list of 45 crews. It was weird, to say the least, but it was definitely a funny blast from the past. We will be posting screen shots once we have a chance.

We have a winner for our Louisiana Race Track give away and hope you all had fun taking part. We will be trying to give away confiscated casinos as often as possible, but when we don't, look for contests with cash prizes!

Other articles include the rise of The Revolutionary Front, the near-sell of The Invisibles, our Behind the Name and our Bootleggers Sound-Off.

For another three to four weeks, I will be asking Sabin to clear some rumors for us. We started last week with "Settling the Rumors; Part I," where Sabin was extremely helpful and informative with answering the rumors I found lingering around. If you heard a rumor that would like clearing (that is Game Related!), please send them to MsNyxxie.

As you can tell, I am trying a new approach to the Editor's Notes. Like this more laid back version or the less informative one? Let us know! Read the "Bootleggers Report Card" to find out how.

On behalf of the Bootleggers' Buzz staff, we hope you enjoy the read. Happy Gaming and Happy Mother's Day!
