Welcome to issue number 99 of the Bootleggers' Buzz!
We are only one issue away from the big 100 issue! With the Buzz being published EVERY week for the past 100 weeks, we are almost running on a two year streak! I am so proud to see the Buzz change into what it has been, and it took almost two years, but we have a wonderful group of people who are here to serve you the news of this week! Enjoy it!
In the news for this issue, we are going over the usual crew takeovers and comebacks. While we say goodbye to short reigning statistic crew Cartel Enterprises, we welcome back The Order and welcome The Commission!
But what is probably biggest news of this week is The Clericuzo's killing spree on some State Dons, the Nation Don, Legendary and Respectable Dons and even Notoriously Rich money holders! With over 50 players going down, the game was happy to see past words and promises matching with eventual action!
The Administrators have also had some action of their own and have managed to get the opened pending ticket count in the single digits. With this comes faster responding time and higher effective rates for Help Desk tickets involving featured suggestions and reporting of problem staff.
Mixing in with the news is our weekly articles such as the Behind the Name and A Year Back. Our newest weekly article tidbit is the Bootleggers Buzz Tutorials, we hope you enjoy all of them. Crew of the Week has made a comeback, but we cannot say how long it will last, but we sure hope to see it next week as well.
As always, we are looking for writers. If you are interested in becoming a writer then read the re-printed version of "So You Think You Can Write?" in issue 97. Please submit a sample article of a recent Bootleggers event via selecting Application in the "Send a" located on the bottom of each Buzz. Remember to mind your grammar, punctuation and spelling. If you are dead by the time we contact you, please submit the same article all over again! Your articles will be reviewed as quickly as possible but please have patience, we won't forget about you.
Remember, anyone can write a freelance article and they are obviously free to do so. They are a chance for each of you to have a voice about the game and possibly share any thoughts that you may have with the BL community. We haven't seemed to get many lately, so get moving and speak your minds! Also, be sure to check out www.blhelp.com, as advertised here.
